Making Community Loans with a Self-Directed IRA

We'll learn about how a self-directed IRA works and how to use it to invest locally in the valley. We'll cover the basics, step by step, of opening a self-directed IRA, getting funds into it, and using it to make loans to the various loan funds and cooperatives in the valley such as Common Capital's Community First Fund, Cooperative Fund of New England, Equity Trust, River Valley Market member loans, and Co-op Power member loans. You will gain the confidence you need to immerse yourself in the shallow end of our local investing pool.
