Invest. Here. Now. November Gathering: "Aligning Our Actions with Our Values"

How do we, as investors – accredited and non-accredited, act on our deeply held values through local investing – especially when those values might be competing, for example making money for retirement versus supporting our communities at low interest rates. A panel of speakers, led by Jenny Ladd, will present different points of view and provide opportunities for participants to ask questions and share their experiences.

• Introductions around: name, where you live, and one value you use to guide your investing.

• • Oona Coy lives in Northampton and for the past 7 years has run Town Farm and Tuesday Market with her husband, Ben. For the past 15 years, with the help of Resource Generation and more recently Fresh Pond Capital, she's worked to match her inherited and invested assets with her social justice values.
  • Ruthie Oland is social justice activist and School Fundraising Program Coordinator at Equal Exchange.
    
  • Andrew Bellak is CEO of StakeHolders Capital, an independent wealth management firm founded by a pioneer of the socially   responsible investing (SRI) movement, two options experts from Wall Street, and a financial planner who is also an ethicist.
